1. Order Processing & Preparation Time
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully authorized. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, and a shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent once your order ships.
Because many of our products are lighting fixtures that may require production, quality inspection, secure packaging, or logistics arrangement, processing and preparation times may vary depending on the product type.
Estimated preparation times:
• Ready-to-ship items: usually ship within 3–7 business days.
• Standard lighting orders: usually require approximately 7 business days for order confirmation, quality inspection, secure packaging, and fulfillment preparation.
• Handmade, oversized, made-to-order, or customized lighting fixtures: may require approximately 7–14 business days before shipment, depending on the product size, finish, customization details, and production requirements.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
After receiving your order, our team will review the selected product, preparation requirements, shipping method, and destination. We will contact you by email to provide the first estimated timeline confirmation. Before shipment, we will perform a second confirmation and provide updated shipping information, including tracking details once available.
2. Shipping & Delivery Time
We currently ship within the United States only.
Many lighting fixtures are large, fragile, or carefully packed items. To help reduce the risk of damage during transit, we may use standard freight shipping, large-item logistics, ocean freight, expedited shipping, or other suitable shipping methods depending on the product and destination.
Estimated delivery after shipment:
• Standard Delivery: usually takes approximately 25–35 business days after the order has shipped.
• Expedited Shipping: may be available for eligible items at a flat rate of $200. Expedited transit usually takes approximately 7–14 business days after the order has completed production, quality inspection, secure packaging, and has been handed over to the carrier.
Please note that expedited shipping only shortens the transit time when available. It does not always reduce the required production, customization, inspection, or packaging time before shipment.
Expedited shipping does not guarantee delivery within 7–14 business days from the order date. The 7–14 business day estimate applies to transit time after the item is ready to ship and has been handed over to the carrier.
Delivery times are calculated from the shipment date, not the order date. All shipments include tracking information once available.
3. Total Estimated Delivery Timeline
The total estimated delivery timeline depends on the product type, preparation time, shipping method, destination, carrier schedule, customs clearance, and final-mile delivery.
General estimated timelines:
• Ready-to-ship items: approximately 4–6 weeks in total with standard delivery.
• Standard lighting orders: approximately 4–7 weeks in total with standard delivery.
• Handmade, oversized, made-to-order, or customized items: approximately 5–8 weeks in total with standard delivery.
• Expedited shipping orders: preparation time plus approximately 7–14 business days of expedited transit, if the item is eligible.
If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm product availability, estimated preparation time, expedited shipping eligibility, and the estimated delivery timeline.
4. Order Timeline Confirmation
To help customers clearly understand the estimated fulfillment timeline, we provide order timeline confirmation during the order process.
After an order is received, our team will review the product type, production or preparation requirements, shipping method, destination, and any customization details. We will then contact the customer by email to provide the first estimated timeline confirmation.
Before the order is shipped, we will perform a second confirmation and provide the customer with updated shipping information, including the estimated shipment status and tracking details once available.
For handmade, oversized, made-to-order, or customized lighting fixtures, the estimated timeline may vary depending on production requirements, packaging, carrier availability, customs clearance, and final-mile delivery conditions. We will continue to communicate with customers if there are any significant updates or changes.
5. Expedited Shipping Service
We may offer expedited shipping for eligible lighting fixtures at a flat rate of $200.
Expedited shipping usually takes approximately 7–14 business days after the order has completed production, quality inspection, secure packaging, and has been handed over to the carrier.
Please note that expedited shipping does not guarantee delivery within 7–14 business days from the order date. Expedited shipping only applies to the transit time after the item is ready to ship.
The required preparation, production, customization, inspection, or packaging time may still apply before shipment, especially for handmade, oversized, made-to-order, or customized lighting fixtures.
Expedited shipping availability may vary depending on the product size, weight, destination, packaging requirements, and carrier availability.
Customers who need faster delivery should contact us before placing an order. Our support team will help confirm whether expedited shipping is available for the selected item and provide an estimated timeline.
Expedited shipping is not guaranteed for all products, especially oversized, highly customized, or special-production lighting fixtures.
6. Shipping Fees
• We offer free standard shipping on most U.S. orders.
• Expedited shipping may be available for eligible items at a flat rate of $200.
• Any additional shipping charges, including special freight charges when applicable, will be clearly confirmed or displayed before payment.
There are no hidden fees.
7. Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
GildLamps is not responsible for delivery delays or losses caused by:
• Incorrect or incomplete shipping address
• Failed delivery attempts
• Refused shipments
• Unavailable recipient
• Address changes requested after the order has already shipped
Address changes must be requested within 12 hours of placing the order. We will do our best to assist, but address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production, packaging, or shipment processing.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us review the issue, please provide:
• Clear photos of the damaged item
• Clear photos of the packaging
• Your order number
• A brief description of the issue
After review, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair part, refund, or other solution depending on the situation.
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will provide a replacement or refund according to the order status and carrier investigation result.
9. Delays Outside Our Control
While we do our best to provide accurate estimated timelines, delivery delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to carrier delays, customs clearance, severe weather, peak season logistics congestion, incorrect shipping information, or final-mile delivery issues.
If there is a significant delay, our team will continue to communicate with the customer and provide updates when available.

For lighting fixtures that require additional preparation, production, customization, or freight arrangement, our team may provide order updates by email.
